A subject is chosen. Then we sketch it. Doesn't have to be perfect.

Target #2 - Nude ... last week's target :)

Target #3

It's Monday, so time to choose a new target.

It's also the first day of Spring, so let's sketch 'anything that you associate with Spring.'

Berries! I don't really like their taste, but I love their texture.

Diets and Drs

It's not much, but 10 days ago or so, I was making appointments and eating an apple, when the nurse/ receptionist on the phone was giving me dates times info and diet instructions. what I could and could not eat! She said I could not eat apples and other foods for the next 3 months. at which point I put down my apple then started doodling instead of listing everything she was saying, it's a very long list :(. I was not impressed about the bacon thing either..

Food Item

when I cut this green pepper in half, I knew I wanted to draw it.

First Target

Yay! Sketch Club!

For the first target, we should start with something non threatening. The jowly goodness of Lloyd Robertson is fun to draw, but sketching people can be intimidating. (what if it doesnt look like so-and-so?? seriously, doesnt matter!!)

Sketch Club works best when everyone contributes, but feel free to choose the assignments you are interested in and leave out ones when you are feeling pressed for time, or uninspired.

FIRST TARGET: sketch a food item. Traditional still life such as fruit will work, or get super creative and choose the most random food you can think of.

Sketch Club!

Back in University we started a Sketch Club. I want it back, and I want it better than before. So, let's do this! Tell your friends! If you can write the alphabet you can draw. Do not be afraid.

Someone suggests a theme, a target, a subject. Last time my favourites were Robert Runte, Lloyd Robertson and a cashier. It doesn't have to be people. It can be anything. Just draw.
